WHAT IS MOVEMENT TRAINING?
Movement Training is all about unlocking our bodies' full functional potential. The idea is to train in all planes of motion, to achieve a full mastery of your body and allow you to move in any way you like seamlessly.
Movements like throwing, crawling and hanging are crucial to our bodies' development, but are all absent in modern society. Gym culture tends to only prioritise a few movements, like the bench press and squatting to 90 degrees, which offer very little functionality and health benefits, leading to our bodies losing those critical skills that kept us alive in the past, leaving us stiff and weak.
Training and re-claiming these lost forms of movement teach our bodies how to move freely and efficiently again, yielding immense amounts of strength, mobility, athleticism and endurance, and not to mention aesthetics!
It's also a lot of fun to be able to move like you could when you were a child!
What's even more amazing about movement training is that it can be done without the use of a gym or even any equipment, making it perfect for those without access to a gym, working from home or just prefer to train in the great outdoors!
Movement training encompasses everything that fitness and exercise should be: freedom of movement.

And another great thing about movement training is that it's FUN!
Being able to train in such a way that doesn't feel like a chore, and that fully expresses all the capabilities of our own body is an amazing thing that just isn't brought out through traditional gym exercises.
Here's a breakdown of each element of movement training.
Working on and developing each area is key to bringing you the best results and turning your body into a machine!

ANIMAL FLOW
Feel amazing and free in your body by training animal flow to improve the quality of your movement and the ranges that you're comfortable in through your whole body.

ROPE FLOW
One of the fitness industry's best kept secrets! Enhance locomotion to improve posture and eliminate stiffness by mimicking the natural rotations of the body, freeing up the spine to make you look and move more like an athlete. The rope is also great for your cognitive health and increasing your brain's longevity!

CALISTHENICS
Build a strong bodyweight foundation on the primary movements like the push-up, pull-up, dip and squat. Build further upon this by mastering skills like the handstand, handstand push-up, muscle-up, pistol squat and many more!

KETTLEBELLS
A perfect blend of strength, endurance, explosive power, mobility and hypertrophy, kettlebells teach you how to be functionally strong through very useful movement patterns like rotation and overhead movements to reduce pain and boost performance.

FLEXIBILITY
Help you unlock new ranges of motion through the hamstrings, shoulders, hips, ankles & wrists. Unlocking skills like the forward fold, deep squat and bridge will allow you to work on more advanced flow movements with more ease.
